CIY (Christ in Youth) MOVE is a four day (and four night) camp-conference retreat for High School students.  CIY exists to “amplify the call of Christ in the lives of students to become Kingdom workers”.

It’s pretty simple. We believe God is using high school students to change the world. We love that we get to partner with CIY in preaching the Gospel to students. And while the Gospel is always enough, we must also work to maximize our efforts by communicating effectively in ways that our audience will most readily understand. We see this all over scripture. From the gospel writers using the most accessible language for their audiences to Paul using secular poets and philosophers with his audience in Athens; a departure from his routine of reasoning from the Hebrew Scriptures with the Jewish intelligentsia. It’s important to understand the unique ways in which students today will understand the love and grace of Christ more effectively.

And no one does that better for high school students than the CIY MOVE team. This year, we’ll be headed to the Hope College campus in Holland, Michigan on Monday, June 26 around noon. We’ll return Saturday, July 1 in the late morning. We will keep you updated as to the exact return time.

Our screened, approved, and excited small group leaders will be leading throughout the weekend, so we have the adults handled. If you have any further questions or concerns check out: https://www.ciy.com/move/program-details, or contact Misha at 313-683-2090 or michael.hulett@242community.com
