Saginaw is a historic city located in east-central Michigan, within the Great Lakes Bay Region. 2|42 is looking for a Campus Pastor for the Saginaw location who has dynamic and engaging stage leadership, a pastor’s heart, can develop leaders, and is passionate about communicating the truth of the Gospel across generations.

Its population of approximately 43,000 is part of a larger metro area that includes neighboring cities like Bay City and Midland. TONY JOHNSON – LEAD PASTOR
Tony was born and raised in Hartford City, Indiana. He joined the team at 2|42 in September of 2021 as the Lead Pastor. As their lead follower of Christ, he’s been preaching Jesus and helping people discover and embrace their God-given purpose and potential.
Tony has an associate’s degree in broadcasting from Vincennes University and a bachelor’s in business marketing from Ball State University. He also obtained a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Tony and his wife, Melissa, have three children: Magdalene, Canaan, and Jael.
In his spare time, you can find Tony cheering on the Miami Dolphins or camping and fishing with his family. He prefers camping over luxury hotels, smoothies over coffee, and gets excited about winters more than summers.
