Teresa Sadler

Teresa was born and raised in a small town near Charleston, West Virginia. She grew up in a christian home with both parents, Charlie and Ginny, and her older brother, Chuck and sister, Cindy. In 1998, Teresa married the love of her life, Greg, and they built their first home together, and were expecting their first child by the spring of 2000. In March 2001, they relocated to Brighton, Michigan where they raised two smart and handsome boys, Adam and Nate, who are now 23 and 20 years old. Teresa and her family started attending 242 the summer of 2012. They felt an immediate connection that this was where God had called them to be, so they joined a small group and she started serving on the Kids Team as a Service Leader. In August of 2015, Teresa joined our 242 staff family and has been helping kids and families take their next steps every day since. Teresa states that although she believed in Jesus her whole life, her personal relationship with Him didn’t really cultivate until she lost her mother to cancer and became a mother to Adam and Nate. She is so thankful for the opportunity to pour into kids and teach them about Jesus every single weekend!
