What is a “Limited Service”?

First, if any of these apply to you, please engage with our services online:

  • If you have any symptoms of COVID: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
  • If you’ve been in contact with anyone with symptoms in the last 14 days, please stay home.
  • If you’ve traveled by air in the past 14 days, stay home.
  • If you are part of a vulnerable population or people in your household are vulnerable, please stay home.
Our highest priority is to keep everyone safe, so we are beginning with limited services. Here’s what that means:
  • Kids and Students. When programs for kids open at your campus location, the number of kids admitted will be limited. Your kids are always welcome to join you in the adult service. Feel free to bring activities from home to occupy your little ones if they’re sitting with you in service.
  • Cafe/Coffee. We know a hot cup of coffee is the best way to prepare for church, but for now we will not be providing coffee. You are welcome to bring your own!
  • Auditorium. Our auditorium will only have seating for half of the capacity. Our ushers will help you find your seat to make social distancing easy.
Touchless service
  • Get the App. Make sure to download the 2|42 App before you come, as we will be using this instead of printed materials. Here’s a secret: it’s actually way more useful and clean!
  • Open Doors. Our greeters will get the door, so you don’t even have to touch the handle.
  • Hugs, handshakes, and even high fives increase risk so we strongly recommend practicing finger guns in the mirror. If you’re unsure of your finger guns, watch this example here.
  • Communion. We will offer prepackaged communion, not trays.
  • Drinking fountains are closed, but bathrooms are open!
Social distancing
  • We are asking you to wear your mask when you are in the building. Our greeters and staff will be wearing them, but trust us, we are smiling. The CDC recommends wearing masks as a positive way to prevent spreading COVID-19. Please don’t make wearing or not wearing a mask a political statement. Let’s look out for the interests of our brothers and sisters. For more on this, we encourage you to read a message from our Interim Lead Pastor CLICK HERE.
  • We ask that everyone respect the comfort levels of the people around them by remaining 6 feet apart while in the building.
Precautions
  • We will be disinfecting all used spaces and surfaces between services.
  • We will have sanitizing stations set up throughout the building.
  • Chairs will be distanced in groups. Ushers will seat people front to back and at the end of the service, we will dismiss back to front.

It’s going to be awesome to get back together. We view this as our “next step” to getting back to full-blown church. We encourage everyone to take this at your own pace. If you don’t feel safe or if people in your household are vulnerable, please don’t show up. You can join us online HERE.

Even though our buildings were closed for the past few months, the Church was never closed. We celebrated next steps together through our screens. And you, the Church, demonstrated what it means to “go+be.”

All campuses are open for in-person limited services and online.
