A Brightmoor Christmas

We are hosting a Christmas Party/Field trip for the 4th & 5th grade students of Brightmoor here at Life Bridge. This school year we have provided the kids with back packs and coats, and now we get an opportunity to meet some of the students and throw them a Christmas party!

December 17th – 11:00pm to 1:30

80 students will be bused to our location where we will have the following activities:

  • A full on Christmas meal
  • A fun big group lesson on budgeting. Each of the stores in Upstreet will have various toys and items for purchase. The kids will be given fake money. The lesson will be using the budget they have to go shopping.
  • Live entertainment in the Auditorium

This will be a blast and we need your help to pull it off. We need volunteers in several areas. Please sign up below.

Skip Day For Student Volunteers

We are declaring December 17th a skip day for students 6th – 12th grade. This will be an awesome way for students to physically reach out show Christ’s love in a practical way to the world around them. For any students who volunteers, we will provide Reason for Absence letter for their school. We realize this may not be acceptable for all the schools, but we think the end goal is worth it.

Grant is our resident farmboy. He grew up in the cornfields of northwest Nebraska. He spent his early days living far from God. As Grant says, "I gave God the middle finger and didn't really care about faith at all." As a young man, he became convinced that God was real. He gave his life to Jesus and experienced God's amazing grace that previously made no sense to him. After experiencing that grace, Grant felt God calling him to teach the message of the gospel. Over the past 20 years, he has been preaching and teaching. Grant, his wife, Bethany, and their four children moved to Michigan in 2011, and he joined the 2|42 team in 2019. Grant is always good for a laugh, but more importantly, he explains biblical concepts in ways anyone can understand.
