I’m a Parent, Now What?

Raising Kids to Know God

At 2|42, we prioritize kids and we are for your family. That means we’re for your kids but we’re also for you as a parent. To better serve the families in our community, we’ve re-worked our child dedication experience to be a resource for the whole family. I’m a Parent – Now What? will help you as a parent identify the type of character you want to build into your child, how you can model this through your own next steps with God, and who you can surround yourself with in order to be successful. The end goal: we want to raise our kids up to know and love God! It all culminates with a Parent Commitment Ceremony where your invited friends and family will join you in committing to be intentional in the lives of your kids.

What?

This is a next step for parents who want to publicly commit to raise their children to know and love God with the hope that they will one day choose Jesus for themselves.

Why?

We believe in the immense potential of young minds and hearts to embrace faith in Jesus. 2|42 Kids embraces the opportunity in partnership with parents to guide children toward a spiritual path at an early age – when they are most receptive – laying the foundation for a lifetime of positive impact and kingdom – building.
