Daniel and his friends were just teenagers when they were exiled to a foreign land. In Babylon, they chose to worship God despite the pressures of the pagan culture. The stories in the book of Daniel show that it’s possible to long for “home,” but still speak truth with love and grace right where you are. Not only was this Daniel’s story, but it’s our story too.
