What do you want?
What we really want isn’t what we really want.
What we naturally want is often in conflict with what we ultimately value.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

Actions lead, feelings follow.
Feelings lead, actions get us into trouble.
If we always do what we want to do, we end up where we don’t want to be.
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,
Galatians 5:19
idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these.
Galatians 5:20-21
Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Forget about the past and focus on the future.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.

“What do I really want?” to “What does God really want?”
What does God really want?
What does God want FROM us?
What does God want FOR us?
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Galatians 5:22-23
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
