What Does 2|42 Mean?
We all have next steps to take. We think that one of the best examples of this mission is found in Acts 2:42–47. Check it out:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:42–47
God asks that we take next steps with Him, but we’re not expected to do it on our own. We’re called to help each other take those next steps. Simply put, we want to live out this example from the book of Acts.
What can I expect when visiting 2|42?
We’re a diverse community of people of all ages, races, and religious backgrounds. Come as you are—really. In addition to our weekend services, small groups gather in homes to do life together. Church is more than just an hour on Sunday; we are a community that encourages faith, community, and generosity. We’d love for you to check it out.
From the second you arrive, we want to make your experience stress-free. You’ll see our friendly parking team help with the flow of traffic, and they will be happy to guide you to an open spot.

While you’re in service, we have separate programming for Kids and Students. You can pre-register your kids and students to help make your check-in process even smoother during your first visit.
We think it’s important to take real world issues and couple that with biblical truths. Our weekend messages are designed to make you think and reflect on how you can take your next steps with God.
