Child Dedications

Right from the start of a precious new life, there are steps that parents can take to begin modeling and teaching what a relationship with God looks like. Child Dedication is for parents who want to publicly commit to raise their kids to know and love God, with the hope that they will one day choose Jesus for themselves.

Child dedications happen in two parts:

If you would like to have your child (birth through kindergarten) dedicated, please plan to attend the Child Dedication Class at your campus. This class explains the commitment that you would be making, how to be successful in that commitment, and how you can be equipped to spiritually lead your kids. You will also be informed and prepared for the dedication ceremony.

The Child Dedication ceremonies are when you invite friends and family to celebrate your commitment publicly. Depending on your campus, this may happen at a specific event or be a part of the regular weekend service. However, all campuses will have a section of that weekend service designed to celebrate and pray over your family.
