Serve Fest | Monroe

Every Sunday we close out our service with a simple but powerful commission: Go+Be the church where you live, work, and play. Serve Fest is an opportunity to help our church family live out our mission. Our goals for these service projects are to Go+Be light in the world around us, to bring hope to those who need it, to foster community in our church, to introduce our small groups to future potential non-profit partnerships for ongoing serving, and to provide an opportunity for people to get connected to our church.

How can you join in? Mark your calendars for the dates below and RSVP to serve with us for the events you can join, invite your small group to join you, and invite someone who is not connected to a church to simply come and do some good with you. More dates and opportunities will be available soon.

Open Air Market
June 14 | 9 am – 6 pm

Summer is just better with outdoor markets! This is your time to show up and be all in for your community. We will be in the kids’ area with our tent, tables, and kids banner for a craft and game. Plus, there will be giveaways! There will be multiple shifts, so make sure to sign up early for the time that works best for you!

Here’s what you can expect:

Nails (9 am – 11 am)
Lunch Break (11 am – 1 pm)
Games (1 pm – 3 pm)

Live Music | After the games, enjoy some beautiful live piano and violin music

Sweet Treats | Cool down with Root Beer Floats and Boston Coolers

River Raisin Clean Up
August 9 | 9:00 am – Noon

Join us as we partner with our community to care for God’s creation during the River Raisin Cleanup! This is a hands-on opportunity to serve our city by cleaning up the riverbanks and surrounding areas, making a visible difference in our environment, and showing love to our neighbors.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” — Psalm 24:1 (NIV)

As followers of Jesus, we believe caring for creation is one way we reflect God’s heart. Whether you’re picking up trash, offering encouragement to others, or simply being present, your service matters.

What to Bring:

Work gloves
Water bottle
Closed-toe shoes or boots
A heart ready to serve!

Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus together as we steward the beauty of the River Raisin and bless our community.
