Julianne Gibbons

Julianne grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in a family who loved Jesus and tried to live on mission following Him. Once in college, Julianne felt a lifelong call to share the message and hope of Jesus. She served as a missionary for 5 years through Youth With A Mission. She and her husband, Nate, moved back to Michigan to be close to family in 2017 and started attending 2|42. They loved how Small Groups at 2|42 helped connect people and also challenged people to put their faith into action. Julianne loves to say, "It's one thing to hear a message on Sunday; it's another thing to live that out during the week." She believes that Small Groups are the best place to practice what it looks like to go+be the church by applying the weekend message, serving together, and meeting each other's needs.
