The Approval of God

 
We seek our whole lives trying to get the approval of one person or group or clan or anything that will fill us up. The truth is, it’s a trap. These things will never fill us up; they will only leave us short of the approval we want. Only our Heavenly Father, God, can give us the approval that we so desperately need. We see that God chose David as king for what is in his heart and not for his outward appearance (1 Sam. 16:6-7). It is God who sees our heart and approves our faith.
