We love easter bunnies, candy, and marshmallow Peeps…hmm! Peeps…as much as anyone. But, there is something bigger, something that changes everything—it’s not religion, it’s not church, it’s not being a good person. It’s an empty tomb.
Its easy to appreciate the teachings of Jesus. Many of us follow the principles that are introduced in the Gospels. However, the claim of Jesus and his follower is far more than that. The essential message of the New Testament is that the son of God was crucified and rose from the dead. If this is NOT true then what Paul said is right:
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile ….we are of all people most to be pitied 1 Corinthians 15:17 & 19
If, on the other hand, Christ literally rose from the dead … this changes everything.
