Advent: The season when we wait with expectation to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Jesus left the comfort and honor He enjoyed in Heaven to come to us. He was born of a virgin, wrapped in cloth, and slept in a manger. Why would he do that?

At the heart of the Christmas story is reconciliation. After sin entered the world, we were separated from God. The only thing that could restore our relationship was God himself, coming into our world.

It is because of Jesus that we are reconciled to God. And now, we can carry the message of hope, love, joy, and peace to a world that desperately needs it.
