This position is a critical role as one of the first points of interaction that people have when they come into our building especially on weekdays. KIDS PRE ELEMENTARY PASTOR

The Pre-Elementary Kids Pastor is called to help kids, (0 through Kindergarten) take their first steps with God through knowing God, growing with others, and changing the world. This person will be responsible for assisting in the development of the overall curriculum adaptation for weekend services, classroom lessons, organizing classroom activities and lessons, and events, and growing a vibrant leadership team that executes the above.

WORSHIP PASTOR

The worship pastor is responsible for overseeing worship and production for service programming, events and worship activities including musical and creative aspects, planning, and preparation. An essential part of this position is to build and strengthen the Worship and Production teams by setting a culture of growth through next steps in their devotion and worship skills. The influence of this spans beyond the weekend services and uplifts the worship environment within the entire campus ministry scope.

TIG Strength + Conditioning Coach

At TIG Strength + Conditioning, our coaches are responsible for maintaining high-quality coaching for athletes of all fitness levels. It is mandatory that our coaches provide a safe and positive environment for our members of all ages. Other responsibilities include occasional retail and membership sales, equipment maintenance, and involvement in community functions. Some class programming and social media updating may be included as well.

TIG Strength + Conditioning Director

The TIG Strength + Conditioning Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the TIG operations, including hiring and scheduling coaches, communications, billing, marketing, and managing the established and future programs. The right candidate would have a desire to continue to grow the business and connect members with the community within and outside of 2|42.

LANSING

COMMUNITY LIFE PASTOR

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and strengthening discipleship at the Lansing Campus to help people take next steps with God in Biblical community.

KIDS ELEMENTARY PASTOR

The Kids Elementary Pastor is called to facilitate a meaningful, consistent, dynamic Elementary ministry that recognizes and promotes the understanding that 2|42’s ministry to children is a discipline of the kingdom of God into which our children are welcomed as full participants. This person’s primary role is to help kids take next steps with God within the Elementary ministry (Kindergarten-4th Grade). Key aspects of this role include the planning, leading, and execution of weekend services, the recruitment, building, and developing of volunteer teams, and events (i.e. 2|42 Kids events, Kids Baptism classes, campus-wide events, etc.)

STUDENTS PASTOR

The Students Pastor will be the main influencer in the overall direction and momentum of middle and high school ministries at the campus while working to maintain alignment through campus constants and pursuing creativity in contextual expressions. This will require having a “Do whatever it takes” mentality, being devoted to learning, and a willingness to be part of the big picture of what 2|42 Students are doing in a multi-site context

SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS LOCATION LEAD

The School for the Arts Lead will manage the day-to-day operations of the SFTA Lansing location, including assisting with and hiring instructors, scheduling instructors and students, communicating and billing with parents, reviewing class proposals, periodically attending SFTA events (classes, lessons, camps) and performances at SFTA Lansing, and taking photos at SFTA Lansing events for use in SFTA advertising. This Lead will also be responsible for coordinating with the Lansing team to ensure room availability, and staffing needs and be a part of the local Lansing team. The right candidate would have a desire to grow the business adding lessons and classes for children and adults as well as summer camps for children.

LIVONIA

CAMPUS PASTOR

The main focus of the Campus Pastor position is to work within the local context of a campus in order to execute the mission of helping people take next steps with God. The ideal candidate would lead the daily operations of the campus alongside and under the direction of the Campus Pastor Director. A successful Campus Pastor will lead the focus of turning a first-time guest into a mature disciple of Jesus, while continuing to grow the existing campus structure. The Campus Pastor will coach and encourage the campus staff to reach their potential in time, talents, and resourcefulness. The Campus Pastor will work closely with the Central Team to ensure that the campus is a good steward of resources and finances.
